  • About Us

    My passion for cargo bikes began after I moved from Paris to Bordeaux in 2016. As a new parent, I was looking for a practical, eco-friendly, and economical way to transport my son to preschool, go shopping, and enjoy Bordeaux's parks. I discovered cargo bikes (tricycles) and was immediately captivated by their versatility and practicality.

    After purchasing a cargo bike that I believed to be from Denmark, I began distributing this brand, AM Ladcykel. However, I quickly discovered that most cargo bikes, regardless of brand, were manufactured in a factory in China, where it was possible to build your own bike with the desired specifications, but only by purchasing an entire container.

    This is how the idea of ​​Buggy Bike was born: to offer quality, customizable cargo bikes at the best price to the community of Bouscat, Caudéran, Bordeaux and all of Aquitaine.

    My personal experience has allowed me to understand the needs of families and professionals in Bordeaux and to select the best models to meet these needs. I am passionate about soft mobility and am convinced that electric cargo bikes are the future of urban mobility.

  • Why this name?

    Buggie comes from the American word for "stroller" — and it immediately spoke to us. A nod to soft, practical transportation, designed for everyday use.

    With a bike, it gives a nice rhythm: Buggie Bike , it rides well, doesn't it?

    And then between us, we also like the little graphic game: the two B's of Buggie Bike , that makes 33 , like the number of our beautiful Gironde. Bordeaux in the name, even without saying it.
